Furniture Hire


DAMAGE

All hire products remain the property of Modern Love Style Co. The hirer will be held responsible for any damage or missing items whilst under the terms of this agreement and will be liable to replace damaged or broken items. It is expected that the hirer will not allow mistreatment of any items from event guests whilst in their care. Any upholstered items that return marked or dirty will be professionally cleaned at our warehouse and an invoice will be issued to the hirer or taken from the security bond. We allow furniture to be used outside but it is the hirer’s responsibility to keep it dry at all times. Any items that are water damaged or mistreated in any way will incur the full replacement cost.  If any furniture is kept overnight, it must remain indoors and secure. If for any reason the hirer incurs replacement costs, an invoice will be sent within 3 working days and is payable within 7 days.

HIRE PERIOD

The hire period is for 1 business day unless otherwise organised. Modern Love Style Co. will determine drop off and pick up times with customers to suit individual needs as well as delivery availability. Please note that some items are not available for wedding reception hire due to their delicate nature and high risk of damage. Please get in touch with us to find out more about which items are available for your event.

HIRE MINIMUM

We have a $300 + delivery minimum on all hire orders.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATIONS

HIRE OF ITEMS & CARAVAN BAR: Due to our boutique collection and busy wedding/event seasons, a 50% deposit is required to secure the items requested and the date of the event. Any Items and date cannot be secured until this deposit has been received.

Once the deposit is paid it is unfortunately non refundable regardless of the circumstances as we hold your date and items required and have been unable to offer this to others.

STYLING & COORDINATION: A 50% deposit payable to secure date & services. After this deposit is paid it is non refundable as we start working straight away. The balance of 50% is due 30 days prior to the event date.

 

PAYMENT DUE

The remainder of the balance is due 30 days prior to the event. If this payment is not received, the date and any hire items may be cancelled.

GST EXCLUSIVE

All of our quotes and invoices reflect that GST is on top the hire price as outlined on each hire product page.

SAFETY OF DELIVERY

The hirer agrees to ensure that any site specified on the hire agreement, will be clear of all obstructions to allow our delivery team to erect, install or place the hire equipment safely. The hirer must ensure that any larger items can be transported safely to the premises and can fit through any doors and that there will be no obstructions for our delivery team. If our delivery team cannot deliver an item due to obstruction at the premises, the hirer will incur a re delivery fee for a replacement item or loss of deposit if a replacement item is unavailable.

 

BOND

A copy of a credit card must be supplied to be used as a security bond for all overnight hire orders, the credit card will not be charged if items are returned damaged unless the customer fails to pay the invoice within the requested time frame.

 

DELIVERY

We unfortunately do not allow for self pick up and drop off for hire items.

We pack, deliver, set up and pack up and then clean all hired goods. The delivery fee is calculated on a case-by-case basis and is dependent on the event location and distance from our warehouse in Moama and the amount of items hired. We do not profit from delivery and try to keep the costs as low as possible.

CLEAN UP

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure any florals and props have been removed from our furniture before pick up.

Styling + Coordination


Any furniture & accessories hired from Modern Love Style Co. are not included in price & will be quoted as additional price.

As part of the styling package- the customer will receive 20% off any Modern Love Style Co. Furniture Hire costs.

For other sourced styling items that are to be hired, the client takes liability for any damages and replacement costs incurred.

Customer will purchase any sourced styling items and have them delivered directly to us in preparation for set up.

Any items purchased by the client are owned by the client and therefore theirs to keep.

Invoices for booking of suppliers will be organised by Modern Love Style Co. & will be then forwarded to customer to pay.

Ceremony furniture hired by Modern Love Style Co. will be packed up after ceremony has been completed and couples have left the premises for photos.

Two rounds of revisions included for inspiration board and theme.

A 50% deposit is required to secure date. This deposit is non refundable as we start working on your day straight away and have been unable to offer the date to others.

The remainder balance is due 30 days prior to the event.
